Setup Your Account

Before exploring the BioLM Console, you’ll need to create and configure your account. This short guide walks you through sign-up, organization setup, and preparing your first workspace.

Create your BioLM account

Visit biolm.ai and click Sign Up.

You can register with your email or continue using an OAuth provider such as Google or GitHub.

  • If you sign up with email, you’ll receive a confirmation message — follow the link to verify your address.
  • If you sign up with Google or GitHub, you can access the console immediately after authorization.

Tip: If you’ve been invited by a collaborator, simply click the invitation link instead. You’ll be guided directly into their workspace.

Create an organization

If you plan to collaborate with others, you may want to start by creating an Organization.

Organizations let you group multiple workspaces under one shared plan and manage access for your team.

Once your organization is created, you can:

  • Invite teammates
  • Assign roles and permissions
  • Create dedicated workspaces for projects or departments

If you’re working solo, you can skip this step and start directly with your personal workspace.

Set up your workspace

Next, create your first Workspace — your primary environment for running models, storing datasets, and building protocols.

  • Give your workspace a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “Protein Design – R&D”)
  • Choose the organization it belongs to (if applicable)
  • Add collaborators as needed

Your workspace becomes your default view each time you log in.

Configure your profile

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner to open Account Settings.

Here you can:

  • Update your name and avatar
  • Review your plan and billing details

Keeping your profile up to date helps collaborators recognize you and ensures workspace ownership details stay accurate.
